ITS America has changed the name of its Annual Meeting next year.

The ITS America Conference & Expo 2023 will still run from 24-27 April next year at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, Texas.

Organised by RX and ITS America, the new name is designed to show "that for decades this conference is where the ITS industry convenes, shares ideas, discusses best practices, hears from thought leaders, and experiences technology in action".

“We felt it was time for the Annual Meeting’s name to evolve to reflect what it truly is: a place for innovators in our industry to unite and scale solutions,” said Laura Chace, president & CEO, ITS America.

“As the ITS industry continues to grow, it is important for the name of the event to reflect the work we do at this conference."

The theme of the event is 'Implementing Innovation for All', with a focus on how the industry can implement innovative solutions to benefit communities.

Topics covered will include connected and autonomous vehicles, digital infrastructure, emerging technologies such as urban air mobility and mobility on demand, plus equitable transportation, and sustainability and resiliency technology.

“The power of in-person networking through a strong and dynamic event is critical for bringing the ITS community together," says Jaime McAuley, event director, ITS America Events and RX said.

"We are working closely with our partners at ITS America to develop an innovative conference programme and build an interactive and diverse show floor showcasing the latest trends and solutions in intelligent transportation.”

ITS International will produce the Daily News at the event.
