From March 2015, Transportation Control Systems (TCS) will be the dealer for 542 Global Traffic Technologies’ (GTT’s) Opticom priority control solutions and Canoga traffic sensing solutions throughout the south-eastern United States.

GTT has expanded its partnership with the Florida-based company, which has been the GTT dealer in southern Florida since 2007. With this development, TCS’s territory will now include all of Florida, as well as Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

TCS is a recognised leader in the manufacturing and distribution of high quality, technologically advanced traffic control products and more than 35 years of experience in the traffic control industry. With their recent acquisition of Tennessee based 6874 Quality Traffic Systems, TCS significantly expanded their reach throughout the south-east and capitalised on the increase in territory to better meet the needs of their customers.

“GTT’s transit, traffic, and emergency response solutions are critical components to our existing product lines and markets,” says TCS President Steven Gillis. “We look forward to helping GTT expand their market base in the Southeast.”

“Transportation Control Systems has been a trusted partner of ours for many years,” says GTT CEO Doug Roberts. “We’ve already seen the results of their commitment to the customer in Florida and are excited to grow our partnership into an additional eight states.”
