Three countries opt for Jenoptik Robot

Jenoptik Robot has won contracts worth US$5.4 million to deploy its stationary and mobile systems to monitor and measure average speeds on roads in Switzerland, Austria and a Middle Eastern country.

Jenoptik Robot has won contracts worth US$5.4 million to deploy its stationary and mobile systems to monitor and measure average speeds on roads in Switzerland, Austria and a Middle Eastern country. The projects are to be completed by late 2010/early 2011. Jenoptik has already been represented in all three countries with traffic monitoring systems for many years.

    As part of a long-term strategy to improve traffic safety, Western Australia Police (WAPOL) has awarded Jenoptik’s Traffic Solutions division a contract by the for the delivery, installation, maintenance and in part the operation of an initial total of 81 speed and red light enforcement systems.     Jenoptik scoops major Australian enforcement order
    Jenoptik’s Traffic Solutions is to operate mobile speed enforcement systems in New South Wales, Australia, under a major contract awarded by the Australian Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) for a new traffic safety program by the RMS designed to increase speed enforcement in New South Wales from six to around 45 mobile vehicles, delivering 7,000 enforcement hours each month.
