Amongst a total of nine pay and display parking machines on the Metric stand at 136 Traffex will be an Aura cashless machine as well as the brand-new Metric Mobile that allows customers to pay on their mobile phone using a credit or debit card.

"The advent of contactless credit/debit card payments will have an impact on coin payments over the coming years," says Richard Boultbee, Metric's UK sales and marketing manager. "The public will decide how they want to pay for parking and we are providing them with the cashless option."
