TomTom and ParkWhiz offer parking solutions in US and Canada

Parkopedia, the world's largest parking service provider, announced today a global partnership to provide TomTom with premium parking content for its automotive customers.
Commenting on the announcement, Parkopedia's CEO Eugene Tsyrklevich said "We have been working on parking matters with TomTom for a while now and are particularly happy to see our joint efforts come to light in this new market leading solutions for drivers and the automotive industry."
Tomtom City, a traffic information and analytics package designed to help authorities monitor road conditions without the need for roadside infrastructure, is on display on Tomtom’s stand at this week’s ITS World Congress.
The company collects data from 450 million connected devices worldwide (6% of Australian vehicles or occupants have a connected device) to determine vehicle speeds, congestion levels and incidents on most roads – and not just those in urban areas.

Amsterdam-based TomTom Telematics (TTT) has rebuilt its Webfleet solution which is said to carry out a more effective job dispatch while delivering routing, navigation and traffic information. It has now been coupled with the new range of TomTom Pro Driver Terminals. The Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution comes with an enhanced feature which enables managers to pre-plan specific routes or avoid certain locations. These routes can then be sent directly to drivers via the TomTom Pro 5350/7350 driver
