McCain finds new parking partner in Fisher 

Fisher will help bring McCain smart city parking solutions to markets in four US states

McCain has added parking systems integrator Fisher Parking & Security as a channel partner in Colorado, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska.

McCain says its own parking solutions will complement Fisher’s offering with technologies to fill the gap between costly single-space parking guidance solutions and counting systems.

Optipark Parking Guidance System (PGS) utilises an optical detection system placed at key decision points to track and report availability throughout the parking facility. 

It also delivers actionable reports and statistics that further enable facility operators with decision making data to improve occupancy and increase revenues, the company adds. 

The Optipark Wayfinding Solution allows operators to display availability and provide options for posting dynamic pricing, custom messages, full-colour images, adverts and promotions.

According to McCain, both solutions together improve traffic flows and sustainability to enable smart city parking solutions.

Mike Driscoll, Optipark parking business unit manager, describes Fisher as the “ideal channel partner to bring McCain’s advanced PGS, Wayfinding and smart city solutions to the markets they serve”. 

Fisher's complete range of hardware, software and cloud-based solutions are expected to be suitable for all parking and transportation facilities, including garages.
