RSS579 Streetline and 3541 Republic Intelligent Transportation Services, a subsidiary of 189 Siemens, have announced they will work together on the installation and maintenance of Streetline's smart parking platform including its wireless sensor network as it expands throughout the United States. The relationship will leverage Streetline's smart parking technology and Republic's intelligent transportation services, creating what is claimed will be a new ‘go-to-market’ platform that will strengthen customer service and enable market expansion.

This partnership represents the second time Streetline and Siemens have collaborated. Towards the end of last year, the companies joined forces to jointly market a range of smart parking products and services for municipalities, airports, universities and private parking operators.
