iDynamoEMV, introduced by 5245 MagTek, is a secure EMV Chip + PIN mobile payment device that turns a smart phone or tablet into a secure mobile payment system.

Certified to the latest PCI PTS 3.1 specification, the device, which allows acceptance of credit or debit card payments anywhere, supports magnetic card reading and EMV Chip & PIN, with optional contactless card reading. It connects to Apple devices via the 493 Apple connector and is supplied with a range of brackets to fit all Apples devices including iPod Touch, iPhone3, iPhone4, and iPad. iDynamoEMV is compatible with all smart devices and connection to non-Apple devices is via Mini USB connector. All communication both internally and externally is highly secure, using 3DES and DUKPT Key Management, exceeding the requirements of PCI DSS.

    Singapore’s Land Transport Authority (LTA) and Mastercard are jointly launching a pilot of account-based ticketing (ABT) for public transport, by allowing the usage of contactless credit and debit cards for fare payments. Commuters holding Singapore-issued Mastercard contactless credit or debit cards can apply to join the pilot via the TransitLink ABT Portal. LTA and Mastercard hope to attract at least 100,000 commuters to participate in the pilot.
