Stalker Traffic Technologies’ (7624 Stalker Radar) Phodar SE-1 photo traffic enforcement radar system has been awarded CE Marking and International Organisation of Legal Metrology certification and has been homologated by the Latvian National Metrology Centre.

The SE-1 monitors up to 32 vehicles moving in either direction across four lanes of traffic from the side of the road (on a utility pole, tripod or inside a stationary vehicle) or above the roadway on a gantry or bridge.

It can be operated remotely via TCP/IP connection and stores violation records internally for review (in evidence browser mode) which can then be copied to any device using its USB port or Ethernet connection or transferred to a dedicated server via Wi-Fi, GSM or FTP.

Someone once likened predicting the future to ‘nailing a jelly to the wall’. With ITS, C-ITS and V2X technology progressing at such a pace, predicting the future is more akin to trying to nail three jellies to the wall – but only having one nail. And yet with roadways having a lifetime measured in decades, that is exactly what highway engineers and traffic planners are expected to do. Fortunately, New Hampshire DoT (NHDoT) believes its technological advances may be able to provide a solution. The Central Ne

The Enforcement Trailer is equipped with Vitronic’s PoliScan Lidar measurement technology for unattended speed enforcement across multiple lanes and has a built-in power supply based on high performance batteries. It can operate independently for up to five days an

The X-Stream series of H.264 video encoders and decoders from COE Group includes a single channel boxed encoder, and two and four channel encoders which may be box-housed or rack-mounted. The range also includes a dual-channel decoder, the X-Stream 200D, capable of decoding H.264 streaming Ethernet video for use with analogue devices. By rack mounting X-Stream encoders in a standard X-Net rack, as many as 56 channels of analogue video may be encoded and transmitted across an IP Ethernet network from each ra
