Jenoptik wins speed enforcement contract in the Netherlands

Robot Nederland, part of Jenoptik's Traffic Solutions division, has recently been awarded a contract to deliver up to 225 mobile speed enforcement systems to police forces in the Netherlands. The contract is for Jenoptik’s Multanova MultaRadar CD mobile speed enforcement system. 6798 Robot Nederland, part of 79 Jenoptik's Traffic Solutions division, has recently been awarded a contract to deliver up to 225 mobile speed enforcement systems to police forces in the Netherlands.

The contract is for Jenoptik’s Multanova MultaRadar CD mobile speed enforcement system.  The system uses a radar sensor which Jenoptik says is capable of capturing high resolution images of offending vehicles regardless of time of day or weather conditions. The contract is for tripod-mounted systems and both front and rear mounted in-vehicle units. Robot Nederland will install the in-vehicle systems and provide service and maintenance.

”We are very pleased we were able to offer a suitable enforcement solution in order to win this very important contract”, says Heinz Marburger, Jenoptik’s head of international sales.

Jenoptik’s Traffic Solutions division has already supplied stationary red light and speed systems to customers in the Netherlands.
