7513 Videalert has added new functionality to its Digital Video Platform to simultaneously support the enforcement of diverse civil traffic contraventions, traffic management and community safety applications. The platform is designed with the intention of allowing councils to take a phased approach to migrating from existing systems to help extend the Return on Investment of assets and reduce support costs.

This solution can now be integrated with mobile enforcement vehicles from third party suppliers such as Traffic Environment Systems and Cohort company 662 SEA. It can also be applied to Videalerts new analytics engine and its upgraded Evidence Pack Review Suite.

The analytics engine is equipped with algorithms that provide additional layers of intelligence to improve the evidence capture process. It is said to increase detection rates and reduce false alerts to deliver enhanced levels of productivity at a low operating cost. Videalert’s Evidence Pack Review Suite features new fields that display more detailed Driver & Vehicle Licensing Agency data. It also allows reviewers to add notes that explain the reasons that Penalty Charge Notices have been issued in borderline cases to help accelerate the evidence pack review process.
