ZatPark's data relating to applications for new resident and visitor parking permits will be automatically synchronised to Videalert MEVs via 4G/5G

Traffic enforcement specialist Videalert, part of Marston Holdings, has integrated its digital video platform with ZatPark’s end-to-end parking management software.

Putting the two elements together with Videalert’s mobile enforcement vehicles (MEVs) - which include electric cars, vans and bikes - will enable local authorities to better manage permit parking, the companies say.

ZatPark's data relating to applications for new resident and visitor parking permits will be automatically synchronised to Videalert MEVs via 4G/5G so that the vehicles' on-board systems are always up to date, thus reducing incidence of false reads.

Rob Kinch, Videalert’s technology and innovation director, said it "extends the capability of our MEVs in reducing the burden on back-office staff and alleviating frustration for vehicle-owning residents".

This functionality can be retrofitted to existing vehicles regardless of supplier, Videalert insists.

“Videalert’s integration with ZatPark allows real-time synchronisation of data throughout the enforcement chain,” adds Gavin Manger, head of solutions at ZatPark.
