Lidar enforcement specialist Parifex has signed a new distribution agreement covering the Middle East.

Get Group Holdings will be the authorised distributor in the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Kuwait.

Get Group will promote the French manufacturer's products such as Nano-Cam and Double-Side Vigie.

Parifex says Nano-Cam, a 3D Lidar-based sensing solution can be easily integrated into smart car parks, smart cities and autonomous vehicle projects, while Vigie is designed for monitoring highway violations.

Parifex CEO Paul-Henri Renard said that Get is "a leading provider of local solutions for safe and smart cities in the Middle East".

"Our technology has proven itself in markets with very high standards," he adds. "We are convinced that together we can improve driver behaviour and make roads safer."

As part of the agreement, Get Group displayed Parifex products at the World Police Summit 2023 in Dubai.
