ITS Australia Awards: get your entries in

Categories include connected vehicles, excellence in R&D and smart transport infrastructure

The ITS Australia National Awards are now open for submissions

Designed to showcase the best of Australian ITS, categories include Connected and Automated Vehicle, Intelligent Mobility, Excellence in Research & Development, Smart Transport Infrastructure and the ITS Australia Young Professional Award 

This latter trophy "recognises and encourages the passion and positive contribution this individual has made and is likely to make to the Australian transport technology industry as demonstrated through their early professional life".

There is also the showpiece Max Lay Lifetime Achievement Award, which is given to "an individual who personifies achievement of the ultimate standard for a leader in the ITS field and in the organisations they have led".

Finalists will be announced on 12 October, with presentations made at a dinner on 30 November in Sydney.

    Nominations for the 2015 ITS Hall of Fame Awards have now closed and the European Members of the Board of Directors will now be invited to vote in each of these three categories. The nine nominations in the industry category include Atkins, Continental, Fujitsu Sen, Here and others, while local government nominations include AustriaTech, the Finnish Ministry of Transport and Communications, the city of Helmond and Hamburg Port Authority.
