Lyt has signed a partnership agreement with Coral Sales Company to provide ITS solutions in the US Pacific Northwest region.

Lyt's cloud-based software platform uses connected vehicle and machine learning technologies to smooth out vehicle flow in cities.

Using pre-existing vehicle tracking sensors and city communication networks to dynamically adjust the phase and timing of traffic signals, its Lyt.transit product helps optimise public transport, emergency and other vehicles to lessen congestion and improve air quality, while its Lyt.emergency solution produces a reliable green light for first responders.

Tim Menard, CEO and founder of LYT, says of Coral: “Our partnership together will help bring advanced transportation technologies and transit prioritisation solutions that leverage cutting-edge artificial intelligence and machine learning data algorithms that can be implemented efficiently and affordably to reduce congestion and improve response times."

“The transportation industry is changing dramatically with the introduction of innovations in ITS," said Diane Grant, Coral owner and president.

"This is an exciting time when our customers can leverage software solutions that assist in solving today’s mobility challenges."
