If you want to contribute a paper to the 28th ITS World Congress in Los Angeles - then get writing!

All papers must be original and should report on "recent significant and substantive achievements".

The event, which runs from 18-22 September, has seven themes under the main banner of 'Transformation by Transportation'.

These are: Equitable and Seamless Mobility; Path to Vision Zero; Technology from Entry to the Last Mile; Intelligent, Connected,
and Automated Vehicles; Organizing for Successful Policy and Governance, Business Models, International Cooperation; Sustainability & Resiliency; and Digital Infrastructure.

These themes will be interwoven with what the organisers call 'cross-cutting' topics, covering a broad range and including AI and Machine Learning, alternative fuels, Mobility as a Service, emerging technologies and Vehicle to Everything.

Technical papers can address technical subjects as well as the institutional, business, and economic aspects of ITS.

Draft papers should be five to eight pages long and include substantial detail and data.

Submissions will be reviewed for quality, relevance, and significance by a peer panel.

Full scientific papers should be five to 12 pages long and concentrate on research and scholarship, specifying a relevant theme and cross-cutting technology.

These will be reviewed by at least one person from each of the three World Congress regions (Americas, Asia-Pacific and Europe).

For more details, go to the ITS World Congress 2022 website.
