#EmpowerWISM is designed to promote early-stage female-founded mobility companies

The fourth edition of the Empower Women in Shared Mobility programme has launched.

Entries must be in by 6 February, 2024 - apply here - after which the top five finalists will be announced.

The international initiative is designed to promote early-stage female-founded mobility companies, with the winner highlighted for 12 months as part of a prize package which includes an interview in ITS International.

Last year's winner was Kari Anne Solfjeld Eid, founder of e-cargo bike subscription service Whee!

To be eligible for #EmpowerWISM2024 companies must:

1. provide a product, service or technology usable for personal mobility/transportation (can be in shared mobility, but doesn't have to be)
2. have at least one female co-founder and C-level executive. Additional points are given for more female representation.
3. be less than five years old

At the end of the application, there is a one-minute-long elevator video pitch: applications must include the video in order to be considered.

The winner will be announced at the 8th edition of the Autonomy Mobility World Expo in Paris on 20 March.
