Equitable mobility will be at the centre of this year's ITS World Congress.

ITS America Events has revealed the full programming schedule for the conference and exhibition, which takes place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from September 18-22, 2022.

"The breadth of technologies we will see and talk about at ITS World Congress – technologies that are saving lives, making our transportation system more resilient, and improving mobility and access – are part of our critical digital infrastructure,” said Laura Chace, president & CEO of ITS America.

“We are excited to welcome our colleagues from around the country and the world to Los Angeles to experience the power of this new digital infrastructure age.”

Hosted in partnership with ITS America, ITS Asia-Pacific, and Ertico-ITS Europe, it is produced by RX.

“This year’s theme, Transformation by Transportation, underscores the transformative leadership role the ITS community is taking in the transportation space," said Jaime McAuley, ITS World Congress event director at RX.

“Our show programme and vendors reflect the diversity of the industry and how the global community is prioritising ITS solutions.”

The opening ceremony will feature a panel discussion with regional leaders on California’s transport ecosystem and how to transform mobility in Los Angeles.

The plenary programme is as follows:

Tuesday, September 20
A Safe Systems Approach to Advancing Equitable Mobility
