IRD’s next generation fleet management

International Road Dynamics (IRD) is highlighting FleetSphere telematics, its web-based GPS telematics system with additional features specifically designed for snowplough fleet management. According to the company, the solution enables fleet managers to manage the spreading and ploughing work being done on an entire road network.

69 International Road Dynamics (IRD) is highlighting FleetSphere telematics, its web-based GPS telematics system with additional features specifically designed for snowplough fleet management. According to the company, the solution enables fleet managers to manage the spreading and ploughing work being done on an entire road network.

FleetSphere will interface with all available components installed on a snowplough, including plough blades, spreader, blast, pre-wet, and anti-icing, and identify their status in real time.

    International Road Dynamics (IRD) has received a contract valued at approximately US$1.22 million from Canada's Prince Edward Island Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal (PEI DTIR). The contract is for the supply, installation, and maintenance of a mainline weigh-in-motion (WIM) sorter system, and will complement the weigh station operation located 1 km east bound of the Confederation Bridge.
