The trade fair for the mobility of the future

The first international ConCarExpo trade fair takes place on 29 and 30 June 2016 at the Messe Düsseldorf exhibition centre in Germany, organised by the German Engineers Association (VDI). The first international ConCarExpo trade fair takes place on 29 and 30 June 2016 at the Messe Düsseldorf exhibition centre in Germany, organised by the German Engineers Association (VDI).

The fair will focus on key aspects such as automated driving and driver assistance systems, navigation and telematics, car2x communication, HMI, control and display systems and the components and systems required. Among the exhibitors in Düsseldorf will be such companies as 1731 BMW, 2214 Microsoft, 1692 TomTom, ESG, 813 Vodafone, 260 Continental and NVIDIA.

ConCarExpo also includes a Start-Up Area for young, innovative companies; a Usability Experience Hub where visitors can compare features of different vehicles; a Research Hub, with information on different technologies, such as connectivity, automation, safety and eco systems; and an In the Car Pavilion showcasing the latest developments and future studies on a wide range of topics.

Four international conferences will discuss automated driving, HMI, connectivity, IT security and safety systems and ITS Germany is hosting a two-day workshop on Public Transportation 4.0, which will examine the current state and the opportunities for connecting vehicles with the infrastructure.
