At CeBIT 2012, 2214 Microsoft Germany awarded the Cloud 4 Society prize for the first time to innovative Cloud Computing start-ups and enterprises for the best idea and implementation based on Windows Azure. Start-ups and businesses had the opportunity to apply for five Future Market categories: Education & Research, Health & Environment, eGovernment, eCommerce & Line of Business and Social & Entertainment.

"The Cloud 4 Society Award honours companies which have provided highly innovative cloud-based solutions. With PTV we honour a partner whose advanced Windows Azure-based logistics solution has deserved to win," says Kai Goettmann, director Server, Tools and Cloud Business, Microsoft Deutschland.
