PTV Group puts new business management in place in UK and Scandinavia

Following its acquisition of UK-based Distribution Planning Software International, PTV Group has put a new management team in place in the UK and Scandinavia. Both companies offer route planning software designed for the transport logistics sector and the deal expands the international market for their products.

Following its acquisition of UK-based Distribution Planning Software International, 3264 PTV Group has put a new management team in place in the UK and Scandinavia. Both companies offer route planning software designed for the transport logistics sector and the deal expands the international market for their products.

The previous owner and company founder of DPS, Paul Palmer will serve the company in a new advisory capacity.

Constantin Lutz and James De Roo have been appointed as new managing directors of DPS and will be responsible for future business in the UK.

Lutz has held leading roles at the PTV Group at its German headquarters in Karlsruhe. as vice president Sales and Marketing Logistics Software, he is also responsible for the corporate group’s global logistics business. James De Roo, who has been with PTV since 2010, will support business from the new company headquarters in Halesowen, near Birmingham.

DPS also has a branch office in Gothenburg, Sweden. Dyon van Gaans, previously managing director of PTV Benelux, will be responsible for expanding PTV’s business in Scandinavia.
