PTV Group expands knowledge base with new hire

PTV Group has announced the appointment of Dr Jaume Barceló, as strategic advisor to join a new group which will focus on developing the group’s next generation of methodologies and technologies for planning and optimisation. Barceló is the former co-founder of TSS and developer of Aimsun software. He is also Emeritus Professor at UPC Barcelona, Spain.

The goal is to reduce the CO2 emissions by 20 per cent. The results were presented at the final event at the end of November.
