French companies 8379 Navya and 6546 Keolis are to demonstrate Navya’s Arma fully autonomous, electric shuttle during the 2017 UITP Global Transportation Summit, 15-20 May in Montreal.

 
During the three-day event, Navya and Keolis executives will outline ARMA's potential in North America and the company's vision for the growth of autonomous vehicles.
 
Navya engineers will discuss the proprietary technology that combines expertise in software and automobile construction with advanced techniques in navigation, geolocation and telecommunication.

    Navya says ABM Greiffenberger’s three-phase induction motors will allow the company to transport passengers safely in its Autonom shuttle. The AC induction motor comes with an air cooling system and is intended be operated over a wide revolutions per minute (RPM) range.
