The integration of 4279 Mobileye’s collision avoidance system with Accel’s Voyager connected car smartphone allows remote monitoring of Mobileye alerts transmitted via the Voyager 3G cellular connection.

The companies said integrating Mobileye collision avoidance systems with Voyager is an elegant solution that adds an additional layer of driver safety via remote monitoring of Mobileye alerts.  It allows both the driver and third parties such as fleet managers, to receive alerts in real time and providing to receive real time updates on their driver’s behaviour on the road.

    USDOT partners with Mobileye in Smart City Challenge
    The US Department of Transportation (USDOT) is to partner with Mobileye to equip the Smart City Challenge winner with crash avoidance technology. Announcing the partnership, Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx said the winning city's public bus system will receive the installation of Mobileye's Shield+ technology on every bus.
