2025 Mediamobile and UK based traffic service provider 2216 Trafficmaster has signed an agreement which will enable Mediamobile to enhance its European traffic information service for carmakers, navigation system and PND manufacturers, telco's and media companies.

The agreement will allow Mediamobile to offer as part of its multi-country service portfolio, traffic related data such as traffic events and traffic flow data over the UK territory produced by Trafficmaster. Whilst operating its own traffic and travel information services under the V-Trafic brand in France, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Poland, this new agreement will allow Mediamobile to expand its coverage to the UK.

Mediamobile says it is already collaborating with several major national and international traffic information providers in Europe, such as 2027 Infoblu for Italy, already a partner for the 1731 BMW's connected services in Europe, and Be-Mobile covering Belgium, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Portugal, Greece, Turkey and Romania, which, altogether, represent the largest RDS–TMC service coverage in Europe.

"The establishment of this relationship with Mediamobile is entirely consistent with the evolution of the European traffic information market, enabling Trafficmaster to participate within the European market's most comprehensive RDS-TMC service offer" explains Craig Blount, director of traffic services at Trafficmaster. "As a former shareholder in Mediamobile we have many shared values particularly with regard to our focus on high quality service delivery."
