TomTom has announced new deals with motor manufacturers Kia Motors Europe, Fiat/Chrysler in Latin America and Hyundai in Europe.

Starting in summer 2015, the company will integrate its connected services, including 1692 TomTom Traffic, speed cameras, local search and weather, in new Kia cars, beginning with the Kia cee’d and 5229 Kia Optima, and  in 1684 Hyundai cars starting with the launch of the All-New Tucson SUV in the second half of 2015.

Kia and Hyundai customers will benefit from the delivery of TomTom’s connected services at no additional cost for seven years after the purchase of a new model.  TomTom’s services will help Kia and Hyundai drivers to save time on the road by identifying the fastest route for each journey using accurate traffic information. They will also receive alerts about fixed and mobile speed cameras, as well as location-centric information on local shops, services and businesses, and prevailing weather reports.

In Latin America, TomTom has extended its partnership with 1674 Fiat/1958 Chrysler to deliver its maps and navigation software in the territory. The Uconnect Touch Nav 5" was launched in Brazil in February 2015 with the new Bravo model under the Fiat Brand. The rollout to other Latin American countries will continue during 2015. The infotainment system offers both entertainment and GPS navigation. In addition to voice guidance and LCD screen, drivers can customise various functions to start browsing quickly and easily. Finding a destination has never been so convenient and secure.

In Brazil, Fiat drivers will benefit from one of the most extensive map coverage available today in the country, combined with TomTom’s market-leading core navigation engine, brought together in the comfort of a factory-fitted, embedded infotainment system.
