8744 Fleet Complete has launched a mobile video platform to help improve operational safety and accident management for fleet managers across different industries.

Called Fleet Complete Vision, the advanced visual analytics solution provides driver, freight and vehicle safety support. In addition, the product offers contextual video data to help reduce insurance and liability costs.

Through the device, fleet managers can create and maintain driver scorecards; detect and review events; share comprehensive trip reports reinforced by video analytics and; gain photographic evidence for accident litigations.

Additionally, Fleet Complete Vision allows clients the option to use their smartphone devices or a dedicated windshield mounted camera. The system is activated by a downloaded mobile application, synchronising video data with analytics and driver behaviour reports.

Tony Lourakis, founder and chief executive officer of Fleet Complete, said: "We are very excited to launch Fleet Complete Vision. It is a great complement to our connected vehicle solutions portfolio, helping establish optimal fleet safety. It provides drivers, fleet managers and business owners both protection and prevention capabilities by combining video coaching with real-time event recording and analytics. Having video backup can either help protect the employees or provide opportunity to develop driver-specific training that will help ensure a safer working environment. This is the future of business fleet operations in the years to come."
