Strasbourg Eurométropole in France has selected 3264 PTV Group, in collaboration with 1692 TomTom, to monitor traffic and congestion in real-time across more than 600 kilometres of the greater Strasbourg road network.

The project will enable SIRAC, the city traffic management centre, to combine real-time data sourced by TomTom with PTV’s Optima analytics platform to monitor and control traffic conditions. In addition, real-time information on the current traffic situation can be communicated to drivers on both the urban and suburban networks.

The real-time data feeds also the traffic information channels such as Webportal or the Strasbourg city app, Strasmap.
