7422 Star Systems International has launched a new hang tag for parking, access control and other automotive identification applications. Designed for ease of use, high performance, portability and reusability in automatic vehicle Identification applications, the 127mm by 102mm Gatria tag can be hung on a vehicle’s rear view mirror, to provide RFID detection and identification in a portable and reusable form factor.

The wide-band designed 860-960 MHz tags are compliant with ISO 18000-6C (63) and EPC C1G2 standards and can be easily installed, removed and stored. They also support password authentication. The tags is said to offer excellent read performance and can be customised with a company logo or other designs and text.

It provides an option for applications that require temporary or portable vehicle identification and is suitable for use in applications such as: access control, temporary guest vehicle access, seasonal parking, fleet management, service and repair stations, gated communities, automotive dealers, vehicle washes and so on.
