Tracy Marks appointed as president of TransCore ITS

TransCore ITS has announced that Tracy Marks has been named as president, succeeding John Simler. Marks joined the company in 1993 and most recently served as senior vice president of both the Southern US and international regions. In addition, he has been general manager of United Toll Systems, a growing product division within TransCore ITS.

Marks joined the company in 1993 and most recently served as senior vice president of both the Southern US and international regions. In addition, he has been general manager of United Toll Systems, a growing product division within TransCore ITS.

“Tracy’s customer focus and demonstrated ability to generate new business are well suited to our growth plans for TransCore ITS. He is a proven leader who will deliver outstanding solutions for customers and enhance the long-term growth for the company,” said Brian Jellison, Roper Industries’ chairman and CEO. “John Simler can now focus on strategic growth opportunities in the broad RF segment. We thank John for his 26 years of leadership in building TransCore ITS into the premier company in the markets they serve” Jellison said.
