Q-Free wins tag order in Chile

Q-Free has been awarded a three-year, US$3.7 million order for tags from Sociedad Concesionaria Vespucio Norte Express in Chile. “We are pleased to win this highly competitive bid for tags. The last contract awards in Chile are confirming Q-Free’s attractiveness in the market for tags and systems,” says acting CEO Roar Østbø.

    Q-Free Open Roads awarded U.S. tolling contract
    Transcore has selected Norway's Q-Free Open Roads (Q-Free) as sub-contractor in a U.S. tolling scheme valued $1.4m (£1m). It will provide Intrada Synergy Server products and services in the North Carolina Turnpike Authority roadside toll collection project for the Monroe Expressway and the US-74 Express Lanes.     Q-Free to sell security division
    Q-Free has entered into an agreement to sell all assets related to its US-based security business Prometheus Security Group. Q-Free expects the transaction to be closed during February 2017, when all contracts, employees and other assets will be transferred to the new owner.
