Q-Free wins NOK30 million tolling contract in Chile

Tolling specialist Q-Free has been selected by road infrastructure operator Sociedad Concesionaria Vespucio Norte Express to service and maintain roadside equipment in Chile. The seven-year year contract is approximately valued NOK30 million (£2.7 million). Håkon Volldal, president and CEO of Q-Free, says: “We are pleased to continue our services to Vespucio Norte and strengthen our presence in the growing Chilean tolling market.”

Tolling specialist 108 Q-Free has been selected by road infrastructure operator Sociedad Concesionaria 7095 Vespucio Norte Express to service and maintain roadside equipment in Chile. The seven-year year contract is approximately valued NOK30 million (£2.7 million).

    Portuguese road operator Ascendi has awarded Q-Free a five year service and maintenance contract, valued at over US$15 million, related to tolling infrastructure deployed in Beiras Litoral e Alta and Interior Norte concessions. Meanwhile, in Brazil, Q-Free has been awarded an order for tags and roadside equipment from Centro Gestao Meios de Pagto (CGMP) in Brazil valued at US$8.68 million. This order is a call off from the framework agreement of $34.25 million announced in October, 2010.
