Transcore has selected Norway's Q-Free Open Roads (Q-Free) as sub-contractor in a U.S. tolling scheme valued $1.4m (£1m). It will provide Intrada Synergy Server products and services in the North Carolina Turnpike Authority roadside toll collection project for the Monroe Expressway and the US-74 Express Lanes.
The contact beings immediately and will be followed by a five-year maintenance agreement.
