IBTTA is making final preparations for its 2022 Global Tolling Summit, which takes place in Dublin, Ireland from 23-25 October.

It is the first time IBTTA has been back to Europe in three years and topics to be covered during presentations and panel discussions include planning for new mobility trends, consumption of new technology, connected and autonomous vehicles, efficiency in maintaining assets and reducing costs, plus safety and security.

Climate change, equity and Vision Zero will all be on the agenda, along with a focus on public-private case studies and a session on road user charging.

In addition to the conference programme and exhibition, there are also technical tours which include an in-depth look at Transport Infrastructure Ireland’s (TII) motorway operations control centre in the heart of the Irish motorway network and tunnel operations.

Co-chief meeting organisers are Geraldine Walsh, head of road user charging, TII, and Fran O'Connor, vice president, director of national tolls, Atkins.
