IBTTA elects new president

More than 700 global transportation leaders from 22 countries gathered for the International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association's (IBTTA) 84th Annual Meeting and Exhibition in Denver, Colorado, last week. More than 700 global transportation leaders from 22 countries gathered for the 3804 International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association's (IBTTA) 84th Annual Meeting and Exhibition in Denver, Colorado, last week.

During the meeting, Emanuela Stocchi, director of International Affairs, Associazione Italiana Società Concessionarie Autostrade e Trafori (AISCAT), Rome, Italy, was elected by the IBTTA membership to serve as 2017 president of the Association. Stocchi’s term begins on 1 January 2017. Stocchi has served as a member of the association’s Executive Committee for the past four years.

“IBTTA is pleased that Emanuela Stocchi will lead the association in 2017. Her leadership and vision will serve as an asset at this critical time when countries around the world are seeking solutions to funding and financing infrastructure,” said Patrick Jones, executive director and CEO of IBTTA. “Emanuela’s public affairs and international experience will be a tremendous asset to our Board and industry as we address the challenges before us.”
