IBTTA appoints new president, second VP

The International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association's (IBTTA) has announced the election of the association’s president and second vice-president, who will both take office in January 2018. Tim Stewart, executive director of Colorado’s E-470 Public Highway Authority has been elected as the association’s incoming president. He has served as a member of the association’s Executive Committee for the past two years and on the Board of Directors for four years.

The International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association's (IBTTA) has announced the election of the association’s president and second vice-president, who will both take office in January 2018.


Tim Stewart, executive director of Colorado’s E-470 Public Highway Authority has been elected as the association’s incoming president. He has served as a member of the association’s Executive Committee for the past two years and on the Board of Directors for four years.

Samuel Johnson, chief tolling officer for Transportation Corridor Agencies, will serve as 2018 second vice president of the of the association. Johnson has served on the Board of Directors for the past four years.

    Jakarta kicks off second ERP trial
    The Jakarta administration is set to kick off a second trial run of the electronic road pricing scheme aimed at helping ease traffic congestion, with the aim of having the system up and running by January 2016. Norway-based Q-Free has set up a gantry with cameras and sensors for the trial run in South Jakarta.
