Asecap Days 2025: abstract submissions open

Challenge of Future Mobility event takes place in Madrid, Spain, from 26-28 May 2025

The deadline to submit papers for the 52nd Asecap Study & Information Days is 27 September 2024.

The event takes place in Madrid, Spain, from 26-28 May 2025 with the theme Challenge of Future Mobility - The Role of Road Infrastructure.

Toll road operators are looking at the transformation of infrastructure to host electric cars, buses and trucks to develop safe, inclusive and sustainable mobility solutions.

Asecap Days will examine how to foster safe and efficient mobility solutions by stimulating investments aimed at reaching the European Union objectives of Vision Zero in terms of both fatalities and CO2 emissions. It will also discuss sustainable financing to support these transformations and developments without burdening public budgets.

Submissions are required on the following topics: 

•    Sustainable road financing schemes
•    Driving Innovation: next generation of traffic management
•    Digital twin-based maintenance and monitoring for road infrastructure solutions
•    Driving Change: tolling System and CO2 Reduction for Net Zero Targets
•    Road safety – reaching zero. What needs to be done and how?
•    What’s new in toll collection?
•    Cooperative, connected and automated mobility (CCAM)
•    Improving mobility data spaces and platforms to ensure enhanced services and cybersecurity
•    Impact of deployment of zero-emission vehicles on road infrastructure
 

Papers will be presented during dedicated sessions at the event.
