IRD appoints new vice president

69 International Road Dynamics (IRD) has appointed Michael Wieck as vice president Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Data Solutions. He will have with responsibility for the development and implementation of customer acquisition strategies to support the growth of IRD's traffic data and information solutions business with the company's Software as a Service (SAAS) for traffic intelligence solutions.

Wieck has over 20 years of experience in the ITS industry, mainly focused on strategic business development, project management and system integration. He recently led the transition of 7316 Intelight into the 108 Q-Free group and previously managed the ITS product portfolio for 6340 Swarco Traffic Americas, as well as multiple consulting and software system deployment projects for 73 Iteris.

"Michael's background and experience will complement IRD's core competencies and help us grow in this important segment of our growing ITS business, serving current and future demand," said Terry Bergan, president and CEO.
