A new show dedicated to road, rail and transport in the Middle East has been announced by Informa, organiser of the Gulf Traffic show in Dubai, UAE.

Saudi Intermobility Expo 2022 will take place from 22-24 November 2022 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Road safety, infrastructure, smart parking, traffic management, transport technology and public transportation are going to be among the key themes of the show, which "is designed to support Saudi Vision 2030 and the ministry's priority for developing the transportation sector to make the Kingdom a logistics hub".

In a statement, Informa says the exhibition is designed to connect Asia, Europe and Africa, "while also promoting long-term economic growth and competitiveness".

Gulf Traffic, which the company has run for 20 years, will be back again in Dubai in 2023.

Informa says the new event is set to host 10,000 trade visitors - including transport authorities, municipalities, consultants and contractors - from Saudi Arabia, the Middle East and beyond, to see more than 250 exhibitors.
