ITS Australia Global Summit 2023: Mobility Forum will kick off programme

A one-day Global Mobility Forum will kick off the ITS Australia Global Summit in Melbourne on 28 August 2023.

Sessions will include Data Analytics / Ecosystems; AI's Impact on Smart Infrastructure; and Connected Transport - C-ITS Benefits, C/AV.

There will also be a Global Updates session, featuring Dr Jason Chang, director, Advanced Public Transport Research Center, National Taiwan University; Ertico CEO Joost Vantomme; Jean Ruestman, administrator, Office of Passenger Transportation - Michigan DoT; and Michelle Batsas, executive director future mobility at Victorian Department of Transport and Planning.

Other speakers at the Global Summit include Stephanie Wiggins, CEO of Los Angeles Metro; Shailen Bhatt, US Federal Highway Administration administrator; Laura Chace, president and CEO of ITS America; Alfredo Escriba, chief technology officer of Kapsch TrafficCom; Bonnie Crawford, vice president & general manager of Cubic Transportation Systems; Thale Kuvås Solberg, president and CEO of Q-Free; and Roger Miller, AASHTO president and secretary of Washington State DoT.

Themes of the event, which runs from 28-31 August at Melbourne Conference & Exhibition Centre, are:
