Following a multi-location assessment of seven work sites 4186 Xerox’s Government and Transportation Sector Technology Delivery Center (GTS TDC) has achieved ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System certification.

Xerox GTS TDC designs, develops and delivers technology transportation solutions in electronic tolling, parking, photo enforcement, fare collections and management, and computer-aided dispatch/automatic vehicle location (CAD/AVL) systems.

The assessment found that Xerox GTS TDC yielded ‘zero nonconformities.’ Xerox was also identified as a ‘market leader’ based on the 24 best practices observed during the assessment, which included TDC quality policy and objectives; the corporate brand personality and branding policy, “Ready for Real Business”;  evergreen-skilled resources; project management process and related methodology; and engineering work practices.

"This certification is not just a nice to have; it’s a must have. Our customers are increasingly requiring such certifications as a requisite to conduct business. They want to know they’re working with a company committed to global quality control,” said Donna Thomas, director, Quality Assurance for Service Delivery, Xerox State and Local Solutions. "By achieving this certification, we position ourselves to meet customer expectations and continuously tune our business processes."
