The city of 1.2 million, lying around 30km from the national capital Seoul, has also been in the forefront of Korea’s ITS development since 1997.     The European Commission has announced the winners of the 2012 Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMP) Award and the European Mobility Week (EMW) Award.
