The 10 winners of the ITS Australia Asia Pacific Student Scholarships Program were announced at the opening plenary session of the Asia Pacific Forum. The winners, from China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand, were each awarded Up to Aus$5000 cash towards expenses to attend the 2016 World Congress in Melbourne and an invitation to participate as a speaker.
Australia’s National Transport Commission (NTC) has released Regulatory Options for Automated Vehicles, a discussion paper that finds a number of legislative barriers to increasing vehicle automation.
